Thank you both for all your efforts, in making last weekend’s course, such a great learning experience. Having never driven a snowmobile, I really appreciated your calm and patient approach to the material. Your, love and enthusiasm for both snowmobiling and teaching really made the course an enjoyable one for me.

Not only did I walk away from the excellent snowmobile training with new skills that will keep me safe on the job, but Saari taught me how to pan fry the perfect T-Bone steak!

At this time I would like to thank Rob and Saari for the Industrial Safe Snowmobile Operator Training program we recently attended with Back Country Snowmobile. The course was very well outlined, and covered an extensive array of conditions and hazards that would be encounters during the course of a work or a recreational snowmobiling event. As a person who has never operated a snowmobile, I personally, came away from the course confident in my new abilities to manage and operate a snowmobile in all snow conditions. The avalanche awareness portion of the program was especially beneficial as avalanche conditions exist throughout this region and pose a serious threat to those unaware. Even our very experienced snowmobile operators, as students, took away new knowledge from the course. I would personally like to thank Rob and Saari for making the 2 days we spent in the mountains a very enjoyable experience. You both managed to maintain a serious learning environment that met the course objectives, and at the same were able to keep it a fun event had by all.

Last March, BackCountry Snowmobile operators Saari and Rob, provided a group of students and myself from the Vancouver Island School Ski Patrol Program a Work Safe BC endorsed 2-day snowmobile operators course. The course content, instructors, practical snowmobile training was excellent. We were able to test the snowmobile and our limits in a safe, yet challenging environment. We are definitely making this an annual training component with our ski patrol program. I would highly recommend Backcountry Snowmobile for anyone who wants to improve their snowmobile operating skills.

The avalanche course was awesome thanks, very educational, enlightening, and magnificent scenery to boot. Can’t beat that. Thanks you all so much.

I would highly recommend Backcountry Safety Training for both Snowmobile and Avalanche training. The BackCountry Crew has a great team of instructors, knowledgeable, skilled and passionate for the outdoors. A great combination for our 3 day course; we took away skills and knowledge that have built our confidence to make good decisions while working up in the mountains (and have fun while we are at it!)
